The Institute for Clinical Research at the Semmelweis University, Campus Hamburg, or IKF for short, is a subsidiary of Asklepios Medical School GmbH and operates in the form of a non-profit organisation. The IKF is wholly financed by donations and research grants.
The IKF acts as a central interface between financial support and investigator-initiated and non-commercial medical research. Its mission is to support this area of medical development that is so important for our society. The IKF achieves this by identifying promising research projects and providing academic and organisational support and assistance, thereby ensuring that the appropriate funding is put to the best possible use for medical innovation.

Cooperation with the Semmelweis University (Budapest)
As part of their comprehensive medical education, students at Asklepios Campus Hamburg (ACH) can produce their graduate thesis or even their own research work while at the IKF. To this end, we work closely with our academic partners to ensure smooth, effective and focused research for students.
